We recently attended the Interior Design Show 2020 in Toronto. With over 300+ vendors there was a lot for us to see. We learned about new and exciting products, as well as trends for the year.
Highlights from our experience …
- Benjamin Moore’s booth was an amazing display of this year’s colour trends. Hello pastels! Their colour of the year is First Light. Our top three include Oxford Gray, Cushing Green, and White Heron (although all ten colours are great!).
- The rein of white in the kitchen is not over. But this year the colour made its way into the kitchen in a surprising way … Appliances! We saw white fridges and stoves making a comeback. With so many customizable options like hardware colour and finishes this trend has already made its way onto our dream kitchen board. We also saw amazing white granite sinks, and white faucets.
- Going for Gold! We couldn’t turn the corner without seeing some pop of gold (and who doesn’t love gold). It seems to be in every part of our homes from gold veining in quartz countertops, hardware, faucets, and lighting. We even saw gold cabinetry and mosaic tile accents.
